Anti-Description Anti-Harassment
Preventative safety measures are key in avoiding incidents. By integrating Harassment Training, workplaces address issues that can reduce discrimination and harassment. Having protocols and training in place tackles the situation before it becomes a problem, fostering a safer and more respectful work environment.

Harassment and Discrimination are pressing matters that continue to be issues for women, and unrepresented workers, in the construction industry. Our goal is to make harassment training mandatory for construction sites and stop discrimination and harassment before it happens with training, continued education, and best practices.

After completing this course, participants will:

-
Define discrimination and harassment, while identifying stigmas and prejudices within.
-
Learn about the classes of discrimination and harassment, and relevant legislation to support ADAH.
-
Recognize the personal triggers that can contribute to discrimination and harassment.
-
How to prevent discrimination and harassment from occurring in the workplace.
-
What to do when you see harassment.

Train the Trainer (TTT) program
Additionally, we have developed a Building Trades specific “Train the Trainer” (TTT) program. The TTT is intended for union educators to deliver to union members, apprentice’s, officers, and representatives.

The TTT program itself will take about 15 hours to complete over the course of several days, including active class time and homework/preparation. Our goal is to offer this program to building trade representatives, apprentices, members etc.
