Annual Convention
The Ontario Building Trades hosts our Annual Convention every October. Delegates of local unions and local building trades council are elected to attend, with invited guests including industry partners, stakeholders and elected officials to discuss the state of the Construction Industry.
Workshops are held prior to Convention and vary in subject matter, depending on the current issues affecting Building Trades workers.
At Convention, resolutions and proposed changes to the Constitution are considered and voted on by elected delegates. Delegates and guests will hear from a variety of speakers over the course of Convention, while elections off officers are held every three years.
