Annual Convention
The Provincial Building and Construction Trades Council of Ontario holds their Annual Convention in October every year, where affiliates, stakeholders, industry partners, and invited guests gather and discuss the state of the industry. The Convention is part of the Constitution and By-Laws of the Building Trades and is an integral part of the organization.

At Convention, delegates from the various locals or affiliated unions partake in workshops and vote on various constitutional by-laws and resolutions. Guests are invited to explore the event and network with various exhibitors and industry experts.

Workshops vary in subject matter and can pivot depending on issues highlighted within the Construction industry that year. They often tackle hard hitting subject matters affecting the construction space, including but not limited to health and safety, opioid use, women in construction, and WSIB.

This year, the 67th Annual Convention is being held on October 16th-18th 2024 at Caesars Windsor in Windsor, Ontario. Please check back closer to the event for further details and information.
